Topiary West London & Reading
Topiary is the art of clipping and pruning trees and shrubs in clearly defined shapes. They are usually evergreen and woody plants with small leaves or needles that have compact growing habits.
They offer a very unique look, have been used for centuries and are now very fashionable in modern gardens. We have a wide range of topiary plants for containers or planting out. Plants range in size and shape and include balls, cones, pyramids as well as more unusual and humorous figures!
At the Big Plant Nursery we can supply Topiary across the West London, Reading and High Wycombe area. It can be used to create structure in both modern and traditional gardens alike and is particularly effective in courtyards, containers, avenues and parterres and also to frame doors or gateways. Topiary is also a wonderful foil for more natural perennial or herbaceous planting.

Are a few of the more popular species used for topiary. These pieces of living sculpture are easy to look after and add essential structure to a garden throughout the year. All are available from our Garden Centre in Twyford near Reading but we can source (or even grow) individual pieces to order.
