At this time of year, the harvest is plentiful, but the question is, what do you do with your harvest if it's too much to eat fresh? Storing, preserving, freezing, pickling and giving away, there are lots of ways of using your harvest and avoiding throwing away the excess.
This month we are focusing on Apples which are definitely the flavour of the season.
Our office manager, Julie, is a master in the kitchen and loves Mary Bank's recipe for Keswick Apple Cake. She has promised to make one and bring it in for the office to try. I'm drooling already!
