This pinnate-leaved wisteria has masses of flowers. It is a large twining, deciduous climber with large pinnate, dark green leaves and drooping racemes up to a huge 1m long, of fragrant, lilac flowers with dark violet markings.
Grow in any moist well drained soil in full sun or partial shade.
It is not the tallest of wisterias, growing to a final height of 4-8 metres makes it an ideal choice for front of house training where flowers can be truly marvelled.
Like other wisteria, it will need support, pruning and training to retain its shape and encourage better flowers.
