Description
With all of the ornamental qualities of its parent, Betula pendula, and the added benefit of a uniform crown shape, Betula Pendula ‘Zwitsers Glory’ has foliage that is small and plentiful, with bright white bark that is close to rival the popular Betula utilis Jaqcuemontii.
Rather than the open, weeping form of Betula pendula, this cultivars’ branches ascend from the trunk at a 45 degree angle, and with the central leader retained this tree will form a neat pyramidal crown shape.
This tree will thrive in most soil types. Perfect for avenue planting, large gardens and parklands.
Mature height: 17-22m
