Acacia dealbata

Commonly known as the Silver Wattle or Mimosa, is an elegant, evergreen tree prized for its grey-green foliage and spectacular winter flowering. From late winter into early spring, it produces abundant clusters of bright golden-yellow, fragrant flowers that bring colour and scent to the garden when little else is in bloom. Best suited to mild, sheltered locations, it thrives in full sun and prefers well-drained neutral to acidic soil. Acacia dealbata typically reaches 8–12 metres in height with a spread of around 4 metres, creating a light, airy canopy and strong seasonal interest.
