Description
This unique grass is so popular for its standout colour of bright light greyish blue foliage, creating interest and drama to any garden. It is mainly grown for its foliage, which has the best colour when it is planted in a spot that gets sun for the entire day, but it also produces blue-green flower-spikes in summer. Stunning as ground cover when mass planted, or as a singular specimen in a rock garden this grass needs little attention, just a yearly comb through in winter or spring. Divide every few years in late winter or early spring to maintain shape and vigour.
Grows best in full sun, poor or fertile, well-drained soils.
