Description
A striking deciduous tree prized for its distinctive peeling bark and graceful form. Native to the Himalayas, this birch variety boasts a smooth, creamy-white bark. Catkins develop in the spring and the triangular leaves are deep green, turning golden-yellow in autumn, adding seasonal interest to landscapes. Height 12-17m.
Grow in well drained or moist but well drained soils in full sun or partial shade.
