Koelreuteria paniculata – (Golden Rain Tree)

Koelreuteria paniculata, commonly known as the Golden Rain Tree, is a deciduous tree valued for its light, open habit and outstanding seasonal interest. In mid to late summer, it produces large panicles of bright yellow flowers, creating a spectacular display when few other trees are in bloom. The fresh green, pinnate foliage turns warm shades of yellow and orange in autumn, followed by decorative lantern-like seed pods that add interest into winter. It thrives in full sun and moist but well-drained soil, making it an excellent specimen tree. Height 8-12m.
