Cornus alba ‘Kesselringii’ – (Dogwood)

Cornus alba ‘Kesselringii’ is a deciduous shrub prized for its striking winter stem colour and seasonal interest. From late spring, it produces small, creamy-white flowers that are followed by clusters of white berries. The green leaves emerge in spring, turning shades of yellow, red and purple in autumn, providing multi-seasonal colour. Its bold purple-black stems stand out in winter when the foliage has fallen, adding architectural interest to borders and mixed shrub plantings. Thriving in full sun to partial shade and will grow in most soil conditions, it will typically reach 3 metres in height with a similar spread.
