Daphne odora

An evergreen shrub celebrated for its intense fragrance and early-season blooms. In late winter to early spring, it produces rounded clusters of pink buds that open to pale pink or white flowers, releasing a rich, sweet scent. Glossy, dark green leaves form a dense, rounded habit, providing year-round structure. Typically growing 1–1.5m tall and wide, Daphne odora prefers moist but well-drained soil and a sheltered position in full sun or partial shade and is ideal for planting near entrances or pathways where its perfume can be fully appreciated.
