Renowned for its layered branching structure, it produces abundant clusters of delicate, lace-cap, white flowers in late spring, fading to light pink in summer. These blooms are followed by vibrant red berries in late summer, which mature to black, attracting birds. The foliage turns warm shades of orange and red in autumn, adding seasonal interest.
