Description
A super choice for any small garden, Malus ‘Gorgeous’ is a deciduous tree with a round habit. It produces delicate white star shaped flowers from pink tinged buds in spring. Fruits darken to red, sometimes deep orange, to the delight of the wildlife. If you can get to them before the birds the fruits make a delicious crab apple jelly. Autumn foliage colour comes in shades of yellow and orange.
Malus ‘Gorgeous’ prefers heavier soils and can tolerate wetter, though free draining land.
This tree is very wildlife friendly.
