Passiflora caerulea

Commonly known as the Blue Passion Flower, is a vigorous, evergreen climber celebrated for its exotic, intricate flowers. Blooming from midsummer into early autumn, the striking blue and white blooms feature prominent filaments and a central corona, attracting pollinators such as bees and butterflies. Glossy, dark green foliage provides a lush backdrop, and in mild climates, it can produce small, edible fruits. Ideal for covering trellises, pergolas, fences or walls, it thrives in full sun and a sheltered position with moist but well-drained soil. Passiflora caerulea can reach 8-12 metres in height with a spread of 4 metres, offering year-round structure and spectacular floral interest.
