Description
A charming, distinctive, and highly textured dwarf conifer that offers a playful twist on the classic Eastern White Pine. It provides outstanding year-round visual interest in a compact, manageable size. It has long, soft, blue-green needles that are strongly twisted and coiled. This twisting gives the entire plant a wonderfully dense, shaggy, and almost “poodle-like” texture. The twisting also exposes different sides of the blue-green needles. ‘Green Twist’ is a very slow-growing dwarf cultivar. After 10 years, it often remains under 1 metre in height and spread making it ideal for rock gardens, containers or mixed borders.
