The Wollemia pine is one of the world’s oldest and rarest trees. The young frond-like foliage is bright green and changes to a blue-green colour as the plant grows. At maturity cones can appear on the tips of the branches, and in the colder months, the foliage has a warm bronze appearance. It is a stunning specimen tree for a large garden and can also be maintained in a pot.
Preferring clay or loam soil types, it favours a well-drained, fertile site with full sun to partial shade.
