Description
Leyland Cypress is well known for its fast growth rate, fragrance, and evergreen foliage. It is a conifer with flat sprigs of green leaves that droop slightly and carry small, dark brown spherical cones. A dense conifer with a conical habit it makes ideal hedging but must be pruned regularly to keep in shape. Left unchecked it can become overgrown and cause neighbourly disputes.
Prefers full sun and well-drained soil, tolerant of most soil types.
