Description
A distinguished variety for its exquisite taste, pleasing aroma attractive appearance. This pear has exceptional sweetness coupled with a hint of acidity and delicate, melting soft flesh. White flowers appear in the spring followed by bronze russet, yellow-green fruit. Harvest late September and stores until October.
‘Beurré Hardy’ needs to cross pollinate with another pear tree from pollination groups 3 or 4.
Grow in moist but well drained soil in a sheltered position. Full sun.
