Description
Also known as a Chinese Dogwood this large flowering shrub/small tree has long pointed wavy dark green leaves which turn crimson-purple in autumn. Like other Cornus kousas small green flowers appear in early summer surrounded by large white-cream bracts creating a wonderful display. Followed by small strawberry like fruits in autumn this tree should be positioned in your garden as a focal point or to an area to add interest.
Height and spread 4-8 metres.
Plant in moist but well drained, sunny/partial shade position.
