Cotinus coggygria Flamissimo

A deciduous shrub or small tree valued for its dramatic foliage and vibrant seasonal colour. The large, rounded leaves emerge rich purple in spring, maturing to green flushed with purple through summer before turning brilliant shades of fiery red, orange and scarlet in autumn. In early summer, airy, smoke-like plumes of flowers appear, adding softness and ornamental interest. Ideal as a specimen plant for the border or garden, it thrives in full sun or partial shade and prefers well-drained soil. Cotinus ‘Flamissimo’ provides bold structure and outstanding colour.
