A compact evergreen shrub with upright, arching stems are covered with spiky, dark green leaves that provide a bold, architectural form. From autumn to winter, it produces clusters of fragrant, bright yellow flowers, attracting pollinators and adding a splash of colour to the garden when few other plants are in bloom.
