The Italian cypress, or Stricta as it’s also known, is an evergreen conifer with dense dark green foliage. Short sprays on erect branches reach up to form a pencil like shaped tree. This architectural beauty is a superb choice for courtyard gardens due to its narrow habit and is used in many Italian themed gardens. Slow growing and drought resistance they are very low maintenance and can suitably be grown in large containers
Unsurprisingly, this cypress requires full sun and well-drained soil. Will tolerate most soil conditions.
