Description
This Pinus is a real stunner. Considered a dwarf conifer it’s most loved for it long light green needles with silvery undersides that delicately dangle over its frame and gently wave in the wind. It’s a very tactile tree. Growing in a pyramid conical to irregular shape this conifer is a standout character as it produces an abundance of seeds from a young age, they are large conspicuous resinous blue cones which mature to a darker brown.
A fully hardy choice of conifer, adding movement and interest to any garden schemes, but most effective as a singular specimen to show off its structural nature. It is slow growing and low maintenance, all it needs is well-drained soil, full sun and occasional trimming if preferred.
