Description
Also known as a Japanese lace fern, it is an attractive evergreen collection of glossy dark green, bipinnate fronds. The curled up young fronds are yellowish-green covered with hair like golden scales and will unfurl as it matures gathering up into a shuttlecock-like rosette. This is a great choice for all year around interest for you garden and would look great and grow well in a mixed border, or woodland garden scheme as it is a shade loving plant and prefers well drained soil with a more sheltered spot in the garden.
