Description
Carex ‘Evergold’ is one of the smaller grasses with yellowly golden foliage. Green fronds with a bright yellow strip down the middle create a bright grass, with pale brown flower-spikes appearing on long stems in mid to late spring. A highly decorative ornamental grass it provides a good contrast to other plants as well as movement in any scheme. Clump forming and with little to no maintenance needed it looks fantastic in a container, borders or rock garden.
Prefers full sun to partial shade. Easy to grow in moist, well-drained fertile soils.
