Acer palmatum ‘Katsura’

Acer palmatum ‘Katsura’ is a stunning Japanese maple known for its vibrant seasonal color changes. In early spring, its delicate, palmate leaves emerge yellow-orange with distinctive pink margins, gradually softening to green in summer and then turning into striking shades of gold and orange in the autumn. This small, deciduous tree has an elegant form, reaching around 2.5–4 metres tall and wide. Grow in a sheltered position in partial shade with moist but well-drained soil. Ideal in the border to add colour or as a focal point, ‘Katsura’ adds visual interest and a delicate texture to any garden.
