Salix integra ‘Hakuro-nishiki’

Salix integra ‘Hakuro-nishiki’, also known as the Flamingo Tree, is a beautiful deciduous shrub or small tree with a rounded shape. Its leaves emerge pink, then mature to a marble mix of green and white with hints of pink, creating a vibrant, multi-coloured effect before fading to green in the summer. This colourful foliage, coupled with red-orange stems, provides year-round interest. Small yellow catkins appear in spring before the foilage. ‘Hakuro-nishiki’ is ideal for smaller gardens, borders, or as a focal point. It prefers moist, well-drained soil and a sunny or dappled shade position.
