Description
Named after its light greyish blue foliage the Blue Arizona cypress is highly fragrant and grows upwards into a conincal shape. Underneath all the striking foliage its bark is a rich distinctive dark brown and peels off in flakes. In the springtime, small round light brown cones appear and slowly grow.
If kept in check this conifer can be used for hedging. It is extremely tolerant of full sun and works well in a Mediterranean scheme where different evergreen colours are required.
Tolerant of most soil types it needs full sun and moist, well drained conditions.
