Description
Magnolia Kobus is a very hardy, versatile tree but unlike other magnolias it can take about 15 years to reach its full floral potential. Until then you can expect a good display of very large, elegant, white flowers from as early as March that can reach up to 10cm across. Once 15 years are reached the floral display becomes sensational.
This medium size, round headed tree is recommended for verges, parkland and large gardens where it will have room to reach its full potential.
Magnolia Kobus will do well in most free-draining soils, including chalky ones. The best choice for neutral to high ph soils.
