Description
A late season dessert apple boasting a delightful balance of sweetness and tang. From Spring, lovely white blossoms are followed by distinctive yellow, flushed with red fruit that are ready to harvest in late October and can be stored until January. Grown on rootstock MM106, Height 3-4m.
‘Christmas Pippin’ is a diploid and will require one additional apple tree from pollination groups 2, 3, or 4, for cross pollination.
Grow in well drained or moist but well drained soil in a sheltered position. Full sun. Will not thrive on very acidic soils, shallow chalk soils or with shade for half the day.
