Description
Recognised for their elegant shape and delightful taste, this variety is prized for their sweet, juicy and creamy textured flesh. White flowers appear in the spring followed by fruits that are green turning to yellow when they ripen. Harvest late September and store until November. Grown on ‘Quince A’ rootstock, Height 3-4m.
‘Concorde’ is a self-fertile variety but can cross pollinate with other pear trees in pollination groups 3 or 4.
Grow in moist but well drained soil in a sheltered position. Full sun.
